Forex Growth Bot FIFO Alert! | Check With Your Broker

Just a reminder to those using FGB on US Brokers

Some brokers enforce the FIFO rule at the client side and others handle it
in their back office. I am using FGB with FXCM and MB Trading.


I forgot to enable FIFO=True on FXCM and noticed in the journal tab that the robot tried to close a last position first. So I believe the robot was trying to close this position and could not because of this. I also believe the robot may have lost control of the basket because of this? in the chart it said "Pos state Updating"

With MB Trading it does not matter because they handle this in their back office, so you can leave FIFO=False. Anyway I just wanted to throw this out to you all to check how your broker handles this FIFO rule BEFORE you start trading FGB.

I hope I have saved someone some headaches : )

Wallstreet Forex Robot New GBP Settings | Member's Area Screenshot

Hi Guys, Just recently one of my favorite scalping Forex robots just released some new settings for the GBP/USD pair. See the screen shot below of the members area.

The TP and SL for this has been changed form the defaults. The TP is now 40 pips and the SL is 52 pips.
There is also a "turbo" version that is similar to this setting with more trades, higher profit but higher draw down as well.

I should also point out that the default setting now sports a 95 pip SL along with a 50 pip TP.

I ran some quick back tests of these new settings and I was NOT impressed. The back tests were barely profitable.

I then proceeded to run a back test for the new default setting and I quickly noticed that the default was still the best choice for long term profit. Unfortunately I was not able to post these back tests on here because of technical issues with my server.

I would definitely run the GBP/USD pair with the default setting, it is the best setting indeed.

Forex Invest Bot | The Forex Growth Bot Team

The Forex Growth Bot Team is about to release another robot based on volatility, which is similar to their previous release. I am really excited about this release for sure. I trade the Forex Growth Bot right now on 2 live accounts.

This robot is supposedly much better than the FGB. We can view its performance as the vendor has started a small live account.

We can see by viewing this account that it certainly does trade similar to FGB. I think with this one the vendor is aiming for similar performance with a reduce in draw down.

I believe this robot will be even more popular than the FGB. Most of the gripes with FGB were the long draw down periods. If this robot can reduce this, it will become insanely popular by Forex fans worldwide.

Wallstreet Forex EA | Demo Account Alternative Pairs

Hi Guys, I just set up a demo account for the Wallstreet Forex EA. When I set it up I was trying to pick some pairs that had a better chance at banking some higher pips. So I picked the GBP/USD with the AUD/USD for starters. I also added the GBP/JPY and used the settings from the GBP/USD. Next I added the AUD/JPY and used the settings from the AUD/USD.

Before I attached them to the charts I did some quick backtesting and they looked surprisingly pretty good. Also before attaching WS I turned on the Friday filter to exit all trades before market close. This should help avoid any weekend market gaps.

Next I set this demo account to publish the results on MyFxbook. Below we can all follow its performance.

The default SL and TP are used for all pairs. I increased the Max Spread to 6.

There is no information of past performance just some video reviews for some apparent users of the signals. I am wondering if anybody has any experience with this guy. I would be happy to hear from anybody who has used this one?

Xcalper Metatrader 4 | X Marks The Spot?

Hi guys, here is a new scalping EA that trades the EURUSD, USDCHF, EURGBP, USDJPY and targets less than 5 pips or profit. So I guess you can label this EA as an "extreme scalper"

Xcalper uses ADX indicator for finding a strong trend, ATR indicator for finding solid movements and checks different timeframes to enter a trade that can be closed in a reasonable time and profit

Apparently you can install this on any timeframe. You would need to run this with a broker that has high execution quality because of the small profit targets. Also you would need to use a broker with low spreads for high trade performance. Otherwise this EA will not perform to its fullest potential. 

One License goes for $249 and 2 licenses goes for $449. 

It should be noted that the above account is high risk and thus the high profits at time of writing. I am not really a fan of scalpers like this, but I do hope its performance continues.

There are no backtests to be found anywhere on the site.

Forex Growth Bot | MyFxbook Chart Analysis

Hi guys, I wanted to show you the vendor graph from which I have marked up with an interesting equity line which shows nicely just why this system is the best one available today. Check this out below:

Now is that beautiful or what? This is up to date with the last trades taken on Jan 11,2013 at which time the bot gave us about 700 pips. The red line I drew on the top of the relative equity curve shows a nice steady gain to the north. The equity curve or what actually was traded, displays the equity in relation to drawdown (DD) which is the red line below the one I drew. This illustrates how to trade this robot and that we should not worry too much about the losses we incur. If our risk is set at a level we are comfortable with things will work out for the best.

Even at the worst DD around July and August of last year we see the market quickly gave back those losses and recovered to the red line I drew on the top.

Remember this is a real money account started by the vendor back in Dec. 2010. Yes the DD can be a little tough to handle at times but if we stick to our money management plan and think long term with this robot, we will be just fine

Speaking of money management I have a good outline of lot sizes to use with this robot below:

1. Low Risk - .01 Lots per 1000USD Traded
2. Medium Risk - .01 Lots per 500USD Traded
3. High Risk - .01 Lots per 250USD Traded

Forex Growth Bot Review And Download | Jan 14

Hi guys, well if you have just started trading this bot you were rewarded with the best month so far the bot has ever produced. At this point in time my account is up over 1000 pips to date. See below:

This robot has proved time and time again just how sound and robust it really is. There are flat periods for sure but as far as commercial EA's go, this IS the best option. Below is a screen shot of some of my trading accounts with the robot.

What I plan on doing with these accounts is adjusting the risk slightly regarding my chart analysis. If I don't like the look of the market I will not hesitate to reduce my risk a bit. If I like what I see on the charts I may raise the risk a bit alternatively. A good safe baseline money management for this bot is .01 lots for each 1000USD traded.

Forex Growth Bot And FXCM | A Winning Forex Combination

Hi Guys, I know most of you may not like FXCM because of their lack of "raw" spreads. The fact of the matter is their average spreads on the Eur/Usd is around 2.6. With this being said it would be hard to use a scalper strategy that would profit nicely for you.

What I like about FXCM though is that they are a very established Forex Broker with high liquidity. They have also recently updated their MT4 platform and the performance increase is noticeable indeed. Another thing I like about them is that they are listed on the NYSE so I can check their stock from time to time to make sure everything looks stable.

So why Forex Growth Bot and FXCM? Well I just explained above that FXCM is an established broker without raw spreads so a scalper would not work well for us. But you see the FGB is the best strategy to run on FXCM because the higher spread really does not effect its performance that much. FGB deals in much higher pip profit levels which works well for ANY broker regardless of spreads.

The bottom line here is if you want to run an expert advisor on a MT4 platform, you really can't go wrong with the FXCM / Forex Growth Bot combination. Just my 2 cents worth below : )

Hi guys, so it's official yesterday I had the best day trading the FGB. I am running it on 2 accounts. Between the two accounts I have bagged a total of +1400 pips. I don't know what happened to the Euro yesterday but maybe the crisis is staring to ease up a bit. I have a screenshot of my accounts below.

Good day, there are a lot of websires with various reviews on the Forex Growth Bot. My mission with this post is to try to clear up some of the confusion here.

Here you will witness the performance of 2 live accounts that are my own. I think it is safe to say that this bot is NOT a scam.

So why are there so many "scam" tags with this bot on the internet?

When new traders are beginning to trade Forex, they do not realize what trading conditions are like with a live account. Essentially trading IS losing with hopes to make a profit WHEN you win! This is exactly what the FGB does so well.

Do not believe anybody that tells you this Forex EA is a scam! Yes it is not the holy grail but then again what is?

FGB Trading Results - Last 2 Years

Hi all, I have a trading chart from a 3rd party for the Forex Growth Bot. The trade results are for the last 2 years of forward testing on a demo account. Please look at this chart below:

Why am I asking you to look at this chart?

There are a couple of things that are noteworthy here. There are 5 months of equity gain over 20% WOW!

Also there is only ONE time where there was 2 significant losing months in a row! In addition there were about a dozen months of greater than a 10% equity gain.

What does all this mean?

The FGB is a very robust trading strategy that has stood the test of time. In addition it has performed pretty good during these tough economic times, something most systems can not reflect.

Forex Growth Bot - To Trade Or Not?

I remember when I first started trading FGB. I was new to trading and just thought for some weird reason that I was going to win EVERY trade. Boy did I not have a clue what I was doing. I knew nothing about money management and I quickly got into trouble.

What I did wrong.

I started trading the robot with only a few thousand USD which is fine but the problem was my broker only allowed trading of mini lots. I was over trading my account.

You may or may not know that historically FGB will lose about 58% of its trades. But what makes this bot special is how it WINS. You see the average win is about twice the average loss. Moreover it is not out of the realm of possibility to get a trade that will net you a 600 pip gain!

The message of this post is simple....I am passionate about the FGB. You may not like to lose this much trading but this is a robust strategy that will keep you trading successfully for many years when used RIGHT.

There will be ups and downs here but this bot always seems to give the pips back if we are patient.

FOREX GROWTH BOT LIVE JAN 2

Happy New Year all, well the FGB opened the new year with a huge gap to the north and the robot had a trade open that I didn't previously close. The result was a 88 pip loss.

I sure hope that the robot can return some of these lost pips. The average loss is only about 23 pips in comparison.
