FOREX GAAAM - WHAT IS A GAAAM?

Hi all, I must say I have never heard of a Gaaam before, any thoughts? Maybe someone can enlighten me. Anyway I saw this account on Myfxbook and the demo results are incredible! But I must caution it IS a demo account. We know how good the Million Dollar Pips EA is on a demo account right?


What bothers me about this demo account is that the trade history is private. So I cannot analyze how this thing trades. Anyway in November this EA has gained 1597% from a $1000 account. WOW imagine if this was a real account. This begs the question why would the vendor not run this on a real account starting with just $1000? Seems a little fishy to me.

This appears to be a signal trader. So you must install a signal copier to receive the signals. In addition this appears to be a basket trader that trades many pairs. Floating DD will most likely be greater than 40%.

The signal cost is $125/ month. Recommended leverage is 1:400 so you cannot trade this with a U.S. Broker. Your broker must be able to trade .01 lot size as most do. FOREX AUTO TRADING? - THINGS TO CONSIDER

Hi all, in this post I want to touch on the important aspects to consider when thinking of starting a Forex Automated strategy(EA). I believe even more important than choosing a good strategy is finding a broker you are "comfortable" with. I would recommend a broker that has a large amount of liquid, thus there is a lower possibility of broker bankruptcy. Also important is to find a broker that preferably has "raw spreads" these brokers work best with automated strategies. Some EA's require excellent "execution" to perform at their best, do some due diligence and you'll be on your way.

In addition to finding a good broker for you strategy, the EA you pick should tailor your trading style and risk appetite. If  you can't sleep at night when you lose 1 dollar playing the lottery, then grid trading strategies, or trading in general, probably isn't for you.

Remember the best strategies will trim your losses and let your profits run. These type of strategies are the best long term systems.

Also important is to run your EA on a VPS or virtual private server. This is in actuality a PC the is rented and  is not affected by outside power issues that may arise, or PC updates.

In conclusion, do your homework and decide exactly how you want to trade, then develop an action plan. Remember trading should actually be "boring" if you are feeling to much emotion either way, then your risk is probably too high. Trading is not supposed to be gambling.

WALLSTREET FOREX ROBOT - "Eur33" TICK BACKTEST

The wallstreet forex robot "eur33" backtest is here. Hello, I wanted to write today about the tick data backtest for the Wallstreet Forex Robot. This backtest is for the newer "Eur33" setting. This backtest runs from 2007-2011 on the Eur/Usd pair. The risk is pretty low for this setting at 3% risk, so the overall gain is only 203% This is the same setting I run on my wallstreet account seen at the bottom of this page. I run mine at 10% risk with recovery=on because it is a small account.

WALLSTREET Eur33 BACKTEST

As we look at the monthly analytics at the bottom of the report, we see that it only had about 10 losing months over the test period. Also when it did have a losing month it was mostly less than 1% loss. I just wanted to bring this to my readers attention, because it is a quality backtest and an excellent robot.

Hello all, I have a great video of the forex growth bot in action. The Euro has been sinking this morning and the robot has captured this price movement to the south. Let's watch it in action!

Let's hope we see similar trades like this in the near future with the robot. This certainly has been one of the better performing robots over the long term.

FOREX MINUTE TRADER - PROFITS EVERY MINUTE!?

Hi all, in this post I would like to share a forex system made by the same vendor (I believe) as million dollar pips. We all know how good the million dollar pips EA is on demo accounts. But in a live trading environment with spreads and slippage etc it is very difficult to get the million dollar pips EA to perform well. So does the vendor create a product with Forex minute trader that performs on any real account?

  Webpage analysis:

The webpage is somewhat easy to navigate and informative. What disturbs me is there are a demo account and a real account posted on the webpage, but both of these are private and cannot be viewed! So I ask why even have them there in the first place? You will also see some of the usual hype found on other Forex websites, you know "how I quit my day job" in a week! This kind of marketing drives me mad and is a turn off.

  Backtests

The strategy is called "minute trader" because it trades the 1 min. chart for 5 different pairs. What is interesting about the backtests is that they are 99% modeling quality on the 1 minute time frame! I did not know that this could be achieved. It is my understanding that the maximum modeling quality for a 1 minute test is 25% modeling quality.

  Strategy

The strategy is an extreme scalper similar to the million dollar pips EA(MDP). I really do believe this one will go down as an EA very similar to the MDP EA in that it just won't perform well for most users. Some of the pairs it trades are as follows:

EUR/USD, USD/CHF, EUR/JPY, USD/JPY, GBP/USD

Some of the highlights include:

- 100% hands free, set and forget
- FIFO compliant
- No GMT or time zone trading restrictions
- No news release contingencies required
- No hedging
- No minimum or maximum leverage requirements
