Fx Builder | Construct Your Own Expert Advisor

Good day all. Here is a great website that has many different options if you feel the need to tweak your own expert advisor. The name of the site is Fx Builder. Apparently they have 3 different "types" of packages based on 3 different strategy "genres". The first package is based on indicators, which most of today's expert advisor are based on some type of indicator.

The next package is based on "bar trading" strategies. These types of strategies open a trade at bar open and close a trade at bar close. An example of a bar trading strategy would be FGB. This package is also include with a suite of indicators as well and includes everything found in the first version.

The last package includes everything from the first 2 packages with the addition of a "grid" trading strategy AND the ability to sell your creation on their website store.

Omega Trend EA | Performance Update May 2013

Good Day, today I will discuss an updated performance report on the Omega Trend EA. The below graph illustrates performance of trading 3 currency pairs by the vendor on a demo account. This account is trading the Eur/Usd, Eur/Jpy, and the Gbp/Usd. You should notice the high Drawdown for a small gain.

But if you look a little closer you will notice that most of the DD has come from the Gbp/Usd, and the Eur/Jpy. When we look at the performance of the Eur/Usd alone, it paints an entirely different picture indeed. See below image:

Above you will notice that this pair is running at a very nice 7.37% monthly rate with a relatively small 21.82% DD. All this while most trend trading systems are in some serious DD right now. With this being said I DO recommend trading this sytem with the Eur/Usd pair in the future. It has handled these recent wild markets rather well. Happy Trading!

Top Forex Systems (EA) | Performance May 20,2013

Good Day, as we look at the performance of some of the most popular trading systems, we can quickly see that volatility EA's are still struggling in today's markets.

Surprisingly scalpers, or strategies that are in and out of the market quicker; with less exposure, have been more successful as of late. This is probably due to the market and its tendency to show a lot of price correction lately. This type of market does not favor trend following strategies as a whole.

Let's take a look at the performance chart below:

We can see WSFR continues to "sniff" out opportunities in these tough markets. Also He-Spider have been performing well because of its entries based on reversals.

Metatrader 4 (MT4) Tips | Expert Advisor Not Trading

Hi Guys, I have a solution for those trying to trade a Forex robot aka expert advisor that will not trade for you. Assuming you have "allow live trading" checked in the options pull down menu along with "enable expert advisors". If you are still not getting live automatic trading, there are a couple of other things we need to check.

We can check the experts tab at the bottom left tab to see what the expert is trying to do. If you see something like "expert X sell not opened" "trade is disabled; then the chart you are using is probably set-up for demo trading only. To verify this you can "right" click on the chart the expert is attached to and you should see an option for "trading". If you do not follow these below steps.

1. Remove all experts
2. Close all open charts
3. Open Market Watch
4. Right click in market watch and select "hide all"
5. Now right click and select "show all"
6. Right click on the desired chart to trade and left click "chart window"



Now if you right click on the chart you should see a "trading" option above the expert advisor selection.

This will allow the expert to take a trade. Basically if you right click on the chart and you don't see a trading option for you to trade, the expert can't trade as well!

Nadex Binary Options | Is This A Safe "Option"?

Good Day all, I stumble on this webpage while educating myself with binary options. This "broker" does not offer MT4 as a trading platform. They offer their trading via a unique real time chart that is all web-based.

So what is Binary Option Trading?

In short they are straightforward low-risk derivatives. Based on a simple yes/no proposition, they offer an intuitive way to trade the financial markets with relatively low collateral. The difference with Nadex is that I believe it is the only options broker that is overseen by the CTFC(Commodities Futures Trading Commission).

Will the price of gold be above $1625 at 1:30pm? 

If you think yes, you buy the Binary Option. If you think no, you sell.

The price at which you buy/sell is not the actual price of gold, but rather a value between zero and 100.

For example, Gold > 1625 (1:30PM) may be priced at 42.50/48.50. The first figure is the bid price (sell), the second is the offer price (buy).

Binary Options Trading can be traded with Forex, Indices, Commodities and Stocks, pretty much anything available. They can be traded Intraday, Daily, Weekly, or any specified time frame, including 1 min. quick trades.

If you wish to start trading Nadex with real money, you can get started with as little as $100. Your funds are segregated in US banks for security purposes. There is even price protection from market "spikes".

Of couse there is the ability to trade via mobile device as well. Please let me know if anyone has experience with this company as I am very interested. I will probably set-up my own demo account to give this a test drive.

Broker Monster Forex Robot | Destroys The Competition?

Good Day all, This Forex Robot in actuality is a trade copier signal service where the trades are sent to the client terminal via a master server.

Upon landing on the webpage, one cannot doubt the similarities with the look and feel of the WSFR webpage. Not only this but some of the content is exactly the same. I wonder if this is developed by the same team?

When you purchase this copier you get to use their VPS service for no additional charge. This I believe is a great value as VPS charges can be large indeed.

There is a photo of a BT on the webpage, but it is only a photo and cannot be viewed. I don'y see how you can BT this as it is a trade copier? Maybe they are using their own EA as the master trader sent to client terminals. Regardless here is the results of the BT.

There is a live verified account running by the vendor. Below we can follow this account as it is updated regularly. At time of writing it was doing very well.

There are 2 price plans. For a single license we are charged $299. You will need at least $1000 to start trading this. You receive free updates and a performance guarantee. In addition you get the aforementioned VPS service. The other plan costs $489 with access to 5 live accounts. You will need to provide the vendor with your account numbers for trading.

The website states that only 10,000 clients will be allowed to trade this. So if you are interested in this I advise you act soon.

This may turn out to be a great trade signal service. What I don't like about these type of trading setups though is the lack of control over you account. Also what happens to you account if the vendor falls of the planet? Just my 2 cents though!

Powerful Scalping Robot | Worth A Look?

Hi Guys, here is a robot that trades on the 5 min TF of the Euro/Usd. It appears to trade similar to the Joker EA, which is derived from the WSFR. Let's look at a 99% BT performed from 2007 to date.

The selling point (if you will) with this one is, apparently it has an accurate entry signal and trades at a high frequency rate. This can be good for profits but can lead to higher DD as well in my experience. The screen shot of the trading chart even looks like the Joker EA.

There is a forward test the vendor has running, but it is only a demo account and many trade details are hidden. I don't know if this is intentional or not.

This system may bear watching in the future as it is somewhat based on the WSFR. Let's see what happens in the future with this one.
